MAKI Reports All KPK Leaders to the Oversight Board Over Nusron Wahid
The Indonesian Anti-Corruption Society (MAKI) has filed a complaint against all leaders of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to the KPK’s Oversight Board. The complaint was submitted online by MAKI Coordinator Boyamin Saiman on Sunday, October 25, 2026.
MAKI feels the KPK leadership isn't being firm enough in dealing with Agrarian and Spatial Planning Minister Nusron Wahid, who’s skipped two summons for questioning. Boyamin said the KPK should have issued a warrant to bring Nusron in.
Boyamin also pointed out other no-shows by witnesses, like USU Rector Muryanto Amin and Witjaksono in the LPEI case. He’s worried that without any strong action, it’ll just chip away at legal authority and make other witnesses think they can ignore questioning summons too.
MAKI is asking the KPK Oversight Board to follow up on this complaint and look into the possible ethical violations and lack of professionalism by KPK leaders and investigators.

Corruptors get bolder when law enforcers go soft. The oversight board needs to act decisively right now, not just sit there as decoration. People are already fed up with this kind of drama.
