kids are a real blessing but...

Asalaamu alaikum, fam! In Islam, we know children are an amanah and a blessing from Allah, but subhanallah, they can sometimes be a handful. Like with my niece and nephews-I try to be the fun aunt since we’re close in age, but there are moments when they totally forget I’m their elder and show no respect, especially when things get serious. And wallahi, I’ve got to say this gentle parenting trend? It’s just not cutting it sometimes.
