I said the Shahada today and it felt like coming home

Alhamdulillah, I really needed to share this somewhere because I’m not quite ready to tell my friends or family yet…after a long time of learning about Islam, reading the Quran, and feeling this deep sense of peace, I recited the Shahada. After I finished, I just couldn’t stop crying. After so many years of searching, it truly feels like I’ve finally found where I belong.
