Houthi Group Launches New Attack on Saudi Arabia, 13 Civilians Wounded
Yemen's Houthi group launched an attack on Saudi Arabia on Monday (15/9/2026), firing dozens of missiles and drones at the Khamis Mushait Air Base in the south. Saudi authorities issued emergency warnings for the area and three other nearby cities.
The Saudi-led coalition said 13 civilians were injured in the attack. Houthi called this an answer to the military operations carried out by the coalition alongside Yemeni government forces.
In a separate development, Houthi military advances and a drone attack from Iraq back on September 10 have put the squeeze on Saudi oil exports. That attack crippled operations of the East-West Oil Pipeline, which could potentially cut up to 4 percent of global oil supply if the shutdown drags on.
