Houthi Attack on King Fahd Airport in Saudi Arabia Kills One, Injures Eight
An attack by Yemen's Houthi group on King Fahd International Airport in Dammam, Saudi Arabia, on Wednesday night (21/10/2026) left one person dead and eight others injured. Saudi Arabia's General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA) said the wounded were rushed to hospital with varying degrees of severity.
The Saudi Energy Ministry also reported a separate incident at an Aramco oil facility in the Shaybah field, Eastern Province, where two people died and two were wounded by projectile debris after air defense systems intercepted a drone. The Saudi-led coalition announced it had intercepted and destroyed five drones heading for the Eastern Province and the Medina region.
King Fahd International Airport was previously targeted in an attack on October 11, but that time no casualties were reported.
