Gibran Ready to Show Education Docs in Court, but Plaintiff Drops the Case

Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka said he’s ready to lay open all his educational background documents if needed during proceedings at the Jakarta State Administrative Court, or PTUN. But the plaintiff, Mercy Sihombing, has already withdrawn the lawsuit concerning a certificate of equivalency for Gibran's high school diploma. Gibran stressed that he respects the entire judicial process and leaves the decision entirely to the panel of judges. He mentioned he had prepared all the documents for the evidentiary hearing, but the plaintiff pulled the suit. The plaintiff's attorney, Denny Indrayana, said the withdrawal happened because Gibran didn’t attach any new evidence.
