FJL Aceh Sacrifices Qurban Animals, Meat Distributed to Journalists and Underprivileged Residents

BANDA ACEH – The Aceh Environmental Journalists Forum (FJL) slaughtered one sacrificial cow on the occasion of Eid al-Adha 1447 Hijri. The meat was distributed to FJL Aceh members and the poor in Banda Aceh and Aceh Besar. The slaughter was carried out at Dayah Irsyadul Abidin Al Amiriyah, Blang Bintang, Aceh Besar, on Friday (29/5/2026). At the same location, another 273 cows were slaughtered from donations by the Turkish community through Turkiye Diyanet Vakfi (TDV) and the Global Meutuah Foundation (GMF) for needy people in Aceh. Coordinator of FJL Aceh, Fauzul Munandar, expressed gratitude for the support of all parties. “Alhamdulillah, for the first time FJL Aceh was able to perform qurban and share. May this be an act of worship accepted by Allah SWT,” he said.
