Final Group of Hajj Pilgrims from Tuban Officially Departs
A total of 376 prospective hajj pilgrims (CJH) from Tuban Regency in Group 26 were officially dispatched on Monday, April 27. The departure was led directly by the Tuban Regent in the yard of the Tuban Regency Government Office, accompanied by an emotional atmosphere from the families who saw them off. The Acting Head of the Tuban Regency Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, Abdul Ghofur, ensured that all pilgrims were in health conditions fit for departure. From a total of 1,645 hajj pilgrims from Tuban, 376 people were dispatched today, with the rest following gradually according to schedule.
Based on the schedule, departures will continue with Group 27 on Tuesday early morning, followed by Groups 28 and 29 at 10:00 AM WIB from the Kridho Manunggal Pendopo. The series of departures will be closed by Group 30 on April 29, 2026, early morning. In this group, a married couple, Putri Yulia and Muhammad Sofa, also departed, having succeeded in performing the hajj together through a mahram merging scheme after waiting for years.
Tuban Regent, Aditya Halindra Faridzky, conveyed that upon arrival at the Surabaya Embarkation Hajj Dormitory, the pilgrims would undergo the final stages of administration and health checks before departing for the Holy Land. He emphasized the importance of the pilgrims' discipline for the smoothness of the pilgrimage. Regarding civil servants (ASN) performing the hajj, the regency government has appointed Daily Executives (Plh) for positions such as the Merakurak District Head, Plumpang District Head, and Head of the Social Service Office, to maintain the stability of public services.
