East Java MUI Leader Coolly Responds to Horeg Sound System Boss's Insults on Live TV
The Indonesian Ulema Council (MUI) of East Java gave a pretty chill response after getting cursed out with some nasty words by Setyo Budi Sularso, a horeg sound system businessman, during a national TV broadcast.
The head of the Fatwa Division at East Java MUI, Maruf Khozin, explained that there were two horeg sound system owners at that forum-David and Setyo. David was said to be open to getting input on rule improvements, while Setyo was met for the first time in the studio and straight up started throwing insults.
Ma'ruf kinda compared the mockery to what happens when a doctor tells a heavy smoker to quit. He said he wasn't bothered by the insults at all and just took it easy, seeing it as part of the deal when you’re inviting people to do good.
