Deputy Regent Mimik Idayana Inaugurates Dialysis Service at West Sidoarjo Regional Hospital
Deputy Regent of Sidoarjo Mimik Idayana officially opened the Dialysis Unit at West Sidoarjo Regional Hospital on Tuesday (15/9). This kidney dialysis service was set up to meet the needs of kidney patients in the West Sidoarjo area who've long struggled with limited access.
Director of West Sidoarjo Regional Hospital dr. Abdillah Segaf Alhadab said preparations for the service have been underway since mid-2025, in collaboration with the East Java branch of Pernefri. Right now they've got 14 dialysis machines, and the official operating license was issued on 18 August 2026.
The service, which has been running gradually since 1 September 2026, logged 77 medical procedures for 30 patients up till the inauguration day. This facility doesn't just serve Sidoarjo residents - it also takes referral patients from nearby areas like Pasuruan, Mojokerto, and Pacet.
Mimik Idayana stressed her commitment to improving service quality, including being quick to respond to feedback from the public. "Giving the best service is the top priority," she said.
