BPKH Announces New Subsidy Scheme for 2026 Hajj, Pilgrims to Receive Benefit Value
The Hajj Financial Management Agency (BPKH) has introduced a new subsidy scheme for the 2026 Hajj aimed at providing tangible benefits for pilgrims. BPKH Head Fadlul Imansyah emphasized that Hajj funds are managed in accordance with Sharia principles, transparently, and professionally to reduce the cost of performing the Hajj and maintain a cautious approach.
For the organization of the 1447 H/2026 Hajj, the average Hajj Organizing Fee (BPIH) reaches Rp87.4 million per person. Pilgrims only pay the Hajj Travel Fee (Bipih) of Rp54.2 million, while the difference of Rp33.2 million is covered from the benefit value generated from managing the Hajj funds. Additionally, pilgrims receive a cost of living allowance in the Holy Land worth 750 Riyals (approximately Rp3.4 million) and a benefit value that goes into a Virtual Account to help settle costs.
BPKH is also prioritizing service digitalization through the BPKH Apps application, allowing pilgrims to monitor their benefit value in real-time. This step is part of a service transformation towards a modern, accountable, and pilgrim-focused management of Hajj funds. BPKH stated its commitment to safeguarding the trust of the Muslim community through secure and beneficial financial management.
