Banda Aceh DPRK Holds Plenary Meeting Regarding Submission of Mayor's 2025 Accountability Report
BANDA ACEH – The Banda Aceh City Legislative Council (DPRK) held a Plenary Meeting on Monday, April 13, 2026, for the official presentation and submission of the 2025 Banda Aceh Mayor's Accountability Report (LKPJ). The meeting, which started at 11:00 AM Western Indonesian Time, was chaired directly by DPRK Chairman Irwansyah, accompanied by First Vice Chairman Daniel Abdul Wahab and Second Vice Chairman Dr. Musriadi. The LKPJ document was submitted by Deputy Mayor Afdhal Khalilullah and received by the DPRK Chairman.
In his remarks, Irwansyah stated that the 2025 LKPJ reflects the city government's performance over the past year. He emphasized that the report is not just numbers and narratives of success, but must be read clearly and honestly, covering achievements, limitations, and aspects that have not met expectations. The DPRK views accountability as a moral responsibility to the public, so the discussion of the LKPJ should be a critical, objective evaluation aimed at continuous improvement.
Deputy Mayor Afdhal Khalilullah affirmed that the LKPJ is a form of accountability for the implementation of government duties, development, and public services throughout 2025. He welcomed the submission of this document as part of the partnership in local governance, as well as a tool for evaluation to encourage more effective and responsible regional autonomy in the future.
