Amirul Hajj Appreciates the Ministry of Hajj's Performance in Improving Hajj Services This Year
Amirul Hajj 1447 H/2026 M member, H.R. Muhammad Syafi’i, reckons this year's Hajj organization has taken a huge leap in service quality for Indonesian pilgrims. The improvements are felt across nearly all aspects, from departure, transportation, accommodation, catering, to health services.
Right from the departure phase in Indonesia, flight schedule punctuality and stronger istitha’ah-based health checks are evident. In Saudi Arabia, pilgrims say they were welcomed comfortably with 24-hour shalawat buses and decent hotels. Most pilgrims also appreciate the quality of the food provided.
Health services have improved through optimized satellite clinics in various accommodation sectors, supported by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah's collaboration with Saudi German Hospital. Muhammad Syafi’i hopes these achievements can keep getting better in the next Hajj seasons.
