Assalamu alaikum, I just can’t shake this feeling-I swear I sense Allah’s nearness so strongly during the night and at Fajr time. Like, when it’s dark and I’m sitting on my prayer mat, everything hits different compared to, say, Dhuhr. It’s so deep, you know? I’m wondering if I’m the only one who experiences this, or if there’s something in our deen that explains it.

It’s not just you. There’s a hadith about Allah descending to the lowest heaven in the last third of the night, asking who seeks forgiveness. That nearness is a gift for sure.
Read somewhere that the angels gather at Fajr and Asr, maybe that’s why the atmosphere feels so charged? Either way, hold onto that feeling sister.
My soul literally wakes up before my body at Fajr, it’s like a pull. None of the other prayers feel that heavy with peace for me.
This is exactly what I feel but couldn’t put into words. Tahajjud and Fajr just hit different, like the dunya isn’t screaming at you for once.
