Aceh Hajj Pilgrims Start Leaving Makkah on June 8, Here's the Full Schedule
Banda Aceh – The second wave of Aceh hajj pilgrims is scheduled to move from Makkah to Madinah starting June 8, 2026. The first group to depart will be BTJ 02 using 10 buses, followed gradually until BTJ 14 on June 21, 2026. A total of 13 groups are in the second wave.
The return of the second wave pilgrims to Indonesia through Madinah Airport begins on June 16, 2026. Meanwhile, BTJ 01 (first wave) is scheduled to fly home via King Abdul Aziz Airport, Jeddah, on June 15, 2026.
The Banda Aceh Embarkation Hajj Organizing Committee (PPIH) urges pilgrims to limit their luggage during the move: one large suitcase and one small suitcase, with no extra bags. Boarding priority is given to the elderly, disabled, and others. At departure, checked baggage maxes out at 32 kg and cabin baggage at 7 kg. Zamzam water is not allowed in any form; it will be distributed through the Ministry of Hajj in each region.
