A True Story - Alhamdulillah for the Blessing

Assalamu alaikum. This really happened to me. As a child I struggled with a lice problem for years - it stayed with me into adulthood. I tried everything: lotions, soaps, home remedies, you name it. At one point I even bleached my hair hoping it would fix things, but it didn’t help. As a teenager I was often bullied by classmates because of the lice. People made fun and most avoided standing next to me, which was painful but I understood their reaction. One night I made sincere dua to Allah and asked Him to remove the lice from my hair. The next morning I woke up and, honestly, I don’t remember if I showered or not, but all the lice were gone and my head stopped itching. My family were shocked since I hadn’t done any new treatment. That experience strengthened my eemaan. Now I ask you to please make dua for me. I hope Allah accepts my prayer to marry a man I love. May Allah grant him stability so he can respectfully ask my father for my hand. We’re young: I’m studying for my degree and he’s looking for work. I’m afraid to speak to my parents because we are of different nationalities and my family is very conservative, and he isn’t financially secure yet. But I truly believe that if Allah wills, He can change things in an instant. It would mean a lot if you could pray that Allah makes a way for us and grants us what is best. Jazakum Allahu khairan.
