A Thought on the Genetics of Adam's Children

As-salamu alaykum everyone, I wanted to share a interesting point about the genetics of Adam (AS) and Hawwa's children. Have you ever wondered, if Adam (AS) and Hawwa were the first humans, and their children married each other, wouldn’t that cause genetic diseases? Well, modern genetics tells us that genetic diseases from close relatives happen because of harmful mutations that build up over many generations. At the beginning of humanity, there weren’t many generations, so there weren’t as many mutations. If Adam (AS) was created by Allah (SWT), his genes would have been 'clean', so his children marrying each other at that time wouldn’t have had the same genetic risks we see today.
