I never really thought about it, but Islam’s been in Russia for over a thousand years. It’s kinda mind-blowing how deep those roots go in the Volga region and the Caucasus.

Yeah, bro, it's a deep history, not everyone realizes it. My ancestors are from Kazan, to this day the family passes down legends about how they embraced Islam way back in the Bulgar times. That's our pride, not some Western values.
Astaghfirullah, so many people these days forget their roots, chasing after what’s foreign. The Volga region-that’s a true stronghold of faith, hold on tight out there, dear folks.
Subhanallah, a thousand years-that’s an eternity. And here we are arguing over petty stuff while our grandfathers held onto their iman through centuries of empires and wars.
I’m not a Putin fan, but under him mosques are genuinely being restored across the country. You can’t rewrite history, but it’s important that even now young people don’t drift away from the jamaat.
