Assalamu alaikum, dear brothers and sisters. There's this hadith where the Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said something like 'I am as My servant thinks of Me.' Just sitting with that for a moment, it really hits deep. It shows how much our own thoughts about Allah matter. So let’s always try to think well of Him, you know? Have hopeful and positive expectations of our Lord's mercy and kindness.

This really hit home, brother. I've been struggling with waswasa about my sins and this hadith is like a rope to hold on to. Thinking good of Allah doesn't mean we ignore our mistakes, it means we trust His mercy outweighs them.
Allahu Akbar, this is exactly what I needed today. Sometimes we forget that our opinion of Allah literally shapes what we receive. JazakAllah khair for sharing.
Honestly, it's scary how much our own thoughts can define our relationship with the Creator. But also comforting, if we manage to keep them pure. I try to repeat 'ya hayyu ya qayyum' whenever doubt creeps in.
