8 Palestinians Killed as Israel Keeps Pounding Gaza Despite Ceasefire
Gaza's health ministry reported that eight Palestinians died from Israeli strikes in the last 24 hours. Seven were killed in fresh attacks, while another one died from previous wounds. Around 34 injured people were also taken to hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli strikes have continued even though a ceasefire’s been in place since October 10, 2025. Since then, 978 people have been killed and 3,097 others wounded, according to Anadolu Agency. Rescue teams also found 782 bodies under the rubble of buildings destroyed by bombing.
Overall, the death toll from Israeli attacks in Gaza since October 2023 has hit 72,988, with 173,205 wounded. Gaza's health ministry pointed out that limited ambulances and civil defense units mean many bodies are still stuck under the rubble or lying on the roadsides.
