700 Students of Darul Ulum Rejoso Jombang's Excellent Islamic High School Hold the 17th Hajj Manasik Training
Darul Ulum Rejoso Excellent Islamic High School in Peterongan, Jombang, held its 17th hajj manasik training on Saturday (5/23). This annual event was attended by over 700 participants, including 10th and 11th grade students, teachers, education staff, and delegates from school and madrasah units at Darul Ulum Rejoso Islamic Boarding School.
The head of Darul Ulum Excellent Islamic High School, Khoiruddinul Qoyum, explained that the training aims to provide a comprehensive understanding of the jurisprudence of hajj and umrah rituals, as well as to instill religious values and character. Participants followed a simulation of all the hajj stages, from ihram, wuquf, mabit, stoning the pillars, tawaf, sa'i, to tahallul.
The event, themed "Harmony of Worship, Strengthening Brotherhood and the Spirit of Noble Morals," was also attended by the Head of the Jombang Hajj Ministry Office, Ilham Rohim. He appreciated the consistency of the activity, which has been held 17 times, and stressed the importance of saving up and registering for hajj early, given that the waiting list in Jombang is around 26 years.
