6,000 TPQ and Madin Teachers in Mojokerto Receive IDR 7.5 Billion in Incentives

The Mojokerto Regency government has distributed incentives worth around IDR 7.5 billion to 6,000 teachers of Al-Quran Learning Centers (TPQ) and Islamic Elementary Schools (Madin). A symbolic handover was done by Mojokerto Regent Muhammad Albarraa at Pendopo Graha Maja Tama last Tuesday. The number of recipients this year hasn't dropped from the previous year. The regent, affectionately called Gus Bupati, stressed the important role of TPQ and Madin teachers in shaping the character and morals of the younger generation. He entrusted the future of children to be of good character and noble morals through religious education. The Al-Quran Education Communication Forum (FKPQ) of Mojokerto Regency also launched the Sang Aji Rasa (Santri Giat Ngaji dan Rajin Salat) program to strengthen character education based on religion.
