51 nations armed Israel amid Gaza war, investigation finds
An Al Jazeera investigation reveals that military-related goods from at least 51 countries entered Israel after the ICJ warned of a plausible genocide risk in Gaza. Using Israeli import data, they traced supply chains across Europe, Asia, and the Americas-all signatories to the Genocide Convention. Arms imports actually increased after the ruling, with munitions making up the largest share. The top suppliers were the US, India, Romania, Taiwan, and the Czech Republic. Even countries that imposed arms embargoes or backed the ICJ ruling continued shipments. Legal experts say these states could be complicit in genocide.
